I was born and raised on Rainy Lake. A twenty-two year teacher turned principal, fishing is in my blood.  I’m a second generation guide, having begun fishing when I was five under the tutelage of my father Ron Jean. For the last twenty-five years I have been professionally guiding alongside my dad and brother Scott for the family business- “Rainy Lake Guiding.” I am sponsored by Lund Boats and Mercury Motors. I have been featured in the Outdoor News "Pro Tip of the Week" and was up for WCCO's Best Guide in Minnesota. When I’m not guiding you will find me fishing a few walleye tournaments around the state.  I specialize in Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskie, Crappie and Bass.
