I have been fishing the lakes of Voyageurs National Park since 1978.  My family bought a resort on Lake Kabetogama in 1984. In 1986, I started guiding part time and spent almost all of my free time on the lakes.  I served the citizens of MN as a Minnesota State Trooper for twenty-four years, including being a member of the SWAT team for thirteen years as well as a K9 handler and trainer for ten years. I retired the spring of 2013 to guide full time.  I enjoy guiding for all of the species Rainy Lake has to offer.  In the off-season you will find me in the woods hunting for upland game with my setters.  I also look forward to time spent with my wife and family.
